Transition Triggers is coming to you Fall 2012

Okay Folks! I have to write a professional book and here it is:

Transition Triggers: Becoming and Emotional Loss Manager for Children and Adults during Situational Life Events:

A road well traveled…

Our life journey allows us to travel along a road filled with unforeseen experiences, sprinkled with happiness, grief, and loss. Many of us navigate through these experiences lacking the coping skills to successfully transition through the good and bad life has to offer. Situations emerge during our journey blindsiding us, or uncontrollable catastrophic events trigger a Domino effect leaving us in a tailspin and lost. Emotionally charged situations involving trauma such as natural disasters, death, crime, rape, demotion, layoffs, unemployment, financial loss, and illness can cause a transition with a major impact on emotional well-being. Learning to manage your life after the loss or destruction after such an event proves difficult to say the least. While adults might have the ability to understand the loss, children are far more vulnerable to emotional trauma leaving them with fewer coping mechanisms.

Transition Triggers: Becoming an Emotional Loss Manager for Children and Adults During Situational Life Events, exams the initial effects of trauma triggered by events beyond control. This guide provides welcome insight on managing to pick up the nerve shattering pieces to shake off the anger, grief, and confusion after such an event.
